The certification is granted to parking facilities committed to minimizing environmental impact and upholding sustainability criteria. The certification procedure entails a meticulous assessment that scrutinizes the entire construction process, guided by a team of experts in green building. This evaluation includes considerations for design, construction, operation, and maintenance practices.

Parksmart Bronze (110-134 points): Buildings in this category have demonstrated commendable commitment to sustainable and efficient parking practices. With a score ranging from 110 to 134 points, they showcase a solid foundation in adopting eco-friendly and innovative solutions for their parking facilities.
Parksmart Silver (135-159 points): Achieving a Parksmart Silver certification signifies a higher level of excellence. Buildings in this tier, scoring between 135 and 159 points, go beyond the basic requirements. They exhibit a more advanced and comprehensive approach to sustainable parking, incorporating cutting-edge technologies and environmentally conscious design principles.
Parksmart Gold (160+ points): The pinnacle of Parksmart Certification is the Gold rating, reserved for buildings that have not only met but exceeded the highest standards. These exceptional structures, scoring 160 points or more, exemplify a holistic and outstanding commitment to sustainability in their parking infrastructure. From energy efficiency to innovative design, Parksmart Gold buildings lead the way in creating environmentally responsible and forward-thinking parking solutions.
Buildings that achieve a score of 90 points or above are eligible for the Parksmart Pioneer Certification.
